Montessori Egg, Ball and Cup set

Our Montessori egg, ball and cup set is a great introductory set to curious toddlers. It includes the egg, a ball and a square shape in which children need to figure out where each piece fits. Children are encouraged to place the ball in the cup thus promoting their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Similarly, the egg and the square shaped piece too.

This activity is like a puzzle which encourages children to explore independently to achieve their outcomes. Completing puzzles takes some time and patience. Practicing patience is one of the best benefits children gain through this activity. It promotes the development of hand-eye coordination, concentration and visual perception as children try to fix the pieces together. This experience also promotes the development of fine motor skills and problem-solving skills which are useful in life. They also help improve memory as the children try and figure out where the pieces go.  Children feel a sense of achievement as they figure out what goes where. Through this activity children can also learn about cause and effect when they release the ball. Rolling activities increases a child’s curiosity which also encourage them to ask questions which in turn play an important role in literacy development.
